Austin City Limits 2017 Highlights

It’s that time of the year again where we drive down to Austin to enjoy some good foods, brews, and music!

Grand Canyon (South Kaibab Trail) Hike

Inspired by Anas love for nature and outdoors, we agreed to spend her birthday along with the last sunset of 2017 and first sunrise of 2018 at the Grand Canyon. We loved Arizona because it offered a certain type of desert like beauty which we are particularly fond of. Other than being in awe with the magnificent views and fresh air, we planned a hike and figured we were in for a treat!

Thanksgiving Trip – New Mexico

With the holiday’s way behind us, in true late fashion I finally got around to doing this blog post! Thanksgiving was a great time for us because we got to road trip through New Mexico and visit family along the way! New Mexico referred to as “The Land of Enchantment” is host to wide open skies and beautiful desert landscape. All things desert hold a special place in our hearts because we are from El Paso, TX which is a desert city. Nonetheless, this post is about a few of the highlights of our trip and it is accompanied with a video so we could share our journey with you!

Hurricane Harvey Relief

Towards the end of August and beginning of September, the Gulf of Mexico was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. During this time, we were vacationing in Havana, Cuba (blog post to follow) and we were not aware of the devastation this storm caused due to our limited WiFi access.

Our Trip to the ESSE Purse Museum

During our spontaneous trip to Little Rock, Arkansas we had the privilege to visit the ESSE Purse Museum.
